How I use AI
I use AI tools to help me organize records and prepare working drafts. They do not make decisions in my cases. What I tell the court, and every recommendation I make, is my own judgment, and I check what I rely on against the record and the law.
My fees reflect only the time I actually spend. If an AI tool helps me do in minutes what would otherwise take me hours, I bill only my time reviewing and checking its work, not the hours it saved.
I keep names and identifying details out of these tools. I do not use AI to record or transcribe interviews, calls, meetings or visits.
If you would like to know more about how I use AI in a case, please ask me.
I am a member of the ABA + TEDLaw Founding Cohort, a year-long program that includes work on human judgment and the use of AI in legal practice.

Drafted with AI assistance (Claude). The thinking, judgment, and final edit are mine.
